I know I am an 'adult' now but does that mean I have to be diplomatic in dealing with other people all the time? Seriously, this may sound like a broken record but I'm seriously not having an easy time with school here and I should be. I got over the fact that they teach and run things differently here, thats fine. The major problem is that you can't just come in, get your work done, learn and leave. My 'teacher' actually approached me and 2 other girls about an 'issuse'. The thing is that the other girls in class, younger, pretentious, know it all's seem to have a problem with people just BEING and not caring about them. There is a class divide, not just literally but also socially. Its ridiculous!! They mentioned that we don't want to join their study group and hang out in school with them. What a legitimate reason to complain about something. We felt as if we had to defend ourselves and myself being shocked didn't say that much but I did get some good statements in there. WHO THE FUCK CARES???
I have become increasingly annoyed this week. The negativity in my attitude is taking it's tole as well. School is going alright, there is alot of work and I can handle that. I just don't particularly care to deal with people being rude/off with me....should be used to it....and expecting to be ok with it. I don't care to talk to people about why they are being like this....I just distance myself from the situation. I'm getting too old to chase people down to make them feel better about themselves.>p
Otherwise things are going well. My last semester grades were pretty good. The weather has been mild and I got some free merchandise in the mail for writing a letter to the company regarding its defectiveness. They were only highlighters but still....
They came to look at the mold problem today. There was a tile off the roof spilling water into the wall where our closet is AND the vent that is in the room was sealed on the outside of the house preventing any if little ventilation for the room. Woo! Hopefully their reportings back to the rental agency and landlord will resolve this.
Has anyone ever had mold in their house? Well, we DO, its all over the bedroom. If I knew how to post a lj cut with pics behind it I would. So, I called the rental agency and their answer was we are not ventilating the room/house enough in the winter. Whatever!!! They don't know shit! I have never in my life heard that reason for mold growing. He didn't have much to say after I told him its been there on and off since the summer. Are people here really that stupid?
I have a real problem with people sometimes. I tolerate a lot less shit than I used to and that leaves a lot less room for someones crap. Alot of people I come across fit these categories 2-faced, attention seeker, needy, crazy or just complete moreons. Nobody is perfect, believe me, but I'm getting too old to deal with this crap. I've changed over the years but it just seems like other people have not and still live in their little dream worlds. Suit yourself then.
